Here’s a video to show you how my setup works. All effects are processed in real-time in Pure Data (Pd), and controlled by a DIY pedal based on an Arduino board. Comments welcome!

very nice!
would like to know if you could give more information or even better writing a post about the effect you used @0:46?
Hi Patrick, thank you for your comment. This organ sound can be achieved by using fft to do time-stretching in real-time. Maybe I’ll post it when I have time. Meanwhile you can take a look at the Phase vocoder example in Pd. My effect is largely based on it.
hi, do you mean I07.phase.vocoder.pd? not sure how to modify this patch to have an organ sound. would it be possible to also get other sounds like string, brass, etc? let’s hope you find the time to enlighten us!
Yes, I’m talking about this example. The nice thing about this is that you can get a polyphonic synth sound without having to use a 6-channel midi pickup. I’ll try to find some time to post my patch…
true that! right now i am using a simple [adc~] – [fiddle~] – [fluid~] but it’s monophonic. be sure to post it on the pd-list (maybe other people would be interested in discovering your work).
You are so awesome! Life goal=this
